We all know that in order to lose weight we need to have metabolism at the certain speed. So here I am going to give you a list of foods that speed up your metabolism. And few other things you can do to make it work faster.
O.k. eating certain fruits can really help. This does not work for all fruits, these are very popular:
- Lemon
- Apples
- Strawberry
- Blueberries
- Grapefruit
- Oranges
The list of vegetables that speed up your metabolism
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Cabbage
- Celery
- Zucchini
Protein can speed up your metabolism as well:
- Lean Beef
- Chicken Breast
- Turkey
- Ham
Drinks that speed up your metabolism
- Green tea
- Coffee (this is debatable, but most people agree)
What else can you do to speed up your metabolism? Exercise at least 20 min a day. Drink a lot of water at least 8 cups a day. And eat smaller portions more frequently a day, instead of large meal.
No matter what you do, make sure you don’t starve yourself. When you are hungry, your metabolism slows down. You have to eat, but make sure you eat smaller meals more frequently.
